Skeptical about porting? Our Slim Comp Barrel Porting System offers a unique and reliable solution. Tested on factory guns with factory springs and ammunition, this system is designed to improve your recoil control and take the snappiness out of even the hottest loads.

What sets our Slim Comp Porting apart is a special bore we machine on the barrel. By removing the rifling from under the ported area it prevents accuracy issues and spalling.

We are not only machining a port in the front of your slide; we take your slide and machine the required window in place of your front sight. If desired, we will place a new front sight behind the window. The barrel is flush cut and crowned to your slide. The special bore is then machined into the front of your barrel. We do not require black nitride on the barrel, but we definitely recommend it if your barrel is not stainless.

Ideal for Glock, 1911/2011, M&P, and many other models (see our full application list below), this porting system is engineered for reliability and recoil management. While tuning your recoil spring weight may offer additional benefits, our setup performs consistently with factory ammunition and spring weights.

Included Work:

Flush cut and crowned barrel.
Special bore work on barrel for the system.
Ports machined into barrel.
Slide windows for ports will be machined.
Front sight will be relocated as allowed, unless no front sight is selected.
Slide and barrel can be refinished with customer selection.
